Solution
Through the use of Erickson's aerial construction using the S-64 Air Crane® helicopter’s heavy lift capabilities along with a composite bipole designed with RS Poles in Canada. While traditional methods would have taken a forecasted 18 months, Erickson was able to complete the project in half the projected time, finishing within just 9 months and meeting the goals of Balfour Beatty’s “25 by 2025” initiative. This initiative was aimed at reducing onsite activity by 25%, thereby improving safety, reducing emissions, increasing efficiency, and cutting costs.
